I would include 7.62x39 with the calibre above. A very practical and cheap round worth considering for bush hunting. 308 better on the tops or for longer shots though.

I have 7.62x39 in wood but they should also be available in synthetic. Was there a reason you want synthetic over wood? I also have the 223 in wood as well. All brand new and still in the box....just in case you decide not to get synthetic. I am out of all the other calibres now. (308 etc)

Nothing wrong with synthetic, I just dont have any in stock in the rifles.

I have one in 7.62 Russian (the PKM caliber, 7.62x54R).
Great rimmed caliber for break action rifles.

hey mate was wanting synthetic as thought it might be lighter and was hoping for a 308 one. Are you able to get them?

Sorry. Had them and sold out. I have only 223 or the 7.62x39 left. As far as i can tell, no weight difference, or not much if there is. And wood does not make that scratchy sound of gorse on plastic in the scrub....

Reloaders had a 308 as the the big GC. GC has apparently got them in 270 and 308 at $499 each so a bit dearer than us.......Reloaders Supplies apparently has the 308 in stock at $400....
