    Balanced Bino Review.

Ive got 3 Tract 'scopes and their 8x40 binos.

Most people say Swaro are best. Yup, seems they are well ahead.

This is a good (long winded) review and nicely gets things into perspective.

I couldn't stand the time frame. But my review is that after two swaros I'm sold on my new 10x30 b3 maven. Sharp. For the price beats hands down anything out there.

It seems a shame that the Nikon HG were not in the line up

You may know this already, but if not, click on the little cog at the top right of the youtube window, select playback speed, start on 1.5x... after a while you can nudge up to 1.75x... for any reviews by slow speakers, whack it up to 2x.

Saves bloody hours of your life... and makes you realise how slowly some people speak. Or maybe we just speak quickly?

A lot of Americans are very low context speakers. They leave nothing for the imagination. That guy is a classic example. Speeding him up is a bonus which we cant enjoy in real life. Wish we could with people like this.

High-context cultures are those that communicate in ways that are implicit and rely heavily on context. In contrast, low-context cultures rely on explicit verbal communication.

Generally tending low context but with regional variations. Rural communities and people are higher context speakers.

In fifty eight yrs of hunting I've tried a few, meaning that there isn't a lot of time left looking thru what's left out there. I'm very happy with my maven as against a swaro, and everyone tends to agree that swaros are on top of the pyramid, certainly in price.

To quantify, I'm only talking about the b3 series. Taking into consideration the diaopter range and weight saving, the 6x30 pair only have half the diaopter movement, as that was the pair I would have got to start with, I hunt with a recurve as well so bush stalking and using the binos is pretty important, not so much when carrying a rifle, lots of times a shot can be manufactured on the jump. After my last post I looked at the prices of the other models, holy chit. For my style, build, age, the b3 are ideal. The small size does get a bit of getting used to, but nothing on earth is perfect. I can live with this and am very happy doing . At half the price of the 10x30 swaros I would certainly recommend them.each to his own.

heh, when you said long winded I thought " bet it's Jay "

Reckon he's a good bastard aye! Had a few chats with him regarding tent selection & it helped me end up deciding on which one to get.

    Good stuff
