Barrel ?
Have just purchased a tikka barrel 308, the old barrel is not as sharp as it once was 3000+ rounds down. Still shoots 3/4moa groups so will keep using it.
Measurement to the lands, the old barrel the lands are .033 worn/ compared, which means my pet load is now 43th off.
I know Gun Smiths don't like reaming Tikka / Sako barrels, but wth only .033 to remove I'm wondering are there any GS that would do it; could be back to a good barrel. Will require a decent check out with a bore scope, to see if this is worth while.

If your 3000 rounds is on the mark then you may have almost gotten your moneys worth from it already. The acuracy loss might not be down to "jump" . You could chop the existing at both ends and get a 3/4 MOA short rifle. options are endless.......

Learned something from this Vid, was considering carbon ring problems, after all most of my shooting has been done with a Can on. Own a cheap bore scope, this guy had a muzzle entry / loaded empty case which made things real easy to see. Not a issue for me, but it proves I'm triming my cases Sammi spec, way to short. Interesting had proved this with a sliding ring set up on 223, but this shows it up really well. Lands are there but not sharp very worn / tapered, and a good clean would help. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=j3hdAWVe05U&t=3s
