Base screws?

A screw snapped off in my one piece base (Marlin XL7) but it been removed without casuing any damage to the rifle.

I'm after four of the following - 6 x 48 3/8" (Fillister head)- Slotted or Torx if available.

I've found them online here - **Gunsmithing Tools**, Reloading Equipment, Books & DVDs - Workshop Innovation but I was hoping I could avoid the wait and get some today in Palmerston North/Wanganui if possible?

Any ideas? Is H&F worth a phone call?

Steelmasters, Tremaine ave, PN, they should have some.

Try backwoods.....any good engineering supply shop should stock or at least get them in in a day or two

sometimes they have the odd bits and bobs there. its worth dropping in and asking. you never know, might get it for nothing :)

Re-measured screw and it appears I'm after the same screw but in 1/4".

Checked out the above stores and no luck I'm afraid. Will order online.
