Hi Team!
After a recent trip to Waimate, I realised my head warmer (cheap Bunnings beanie) was woefully inadequate.
Would like some thoughts, advice, suggestions about a quality, affordable and effective replacement please!

get someone to sew you a crawford neck warmer..... basically a bath towel sized bit of polar fleece, folden in half and sew down the side only 1/3 of the way...with slit made on other side same length..allows you to put big flap down front and down back..can pull up over ears and even over top of head...with one of them..your bunnings beanie will once again cut the mustard.
I have an under armour beanie with some thermal reflective inside....warm as toast

This afternoon I took my MKM 36.6 when I took the dog for a walk instead of the usual one . I can recommend it for cold conditions, I was way too warm today.
Hard to beat a genuine wool version!!
I've never been a big beanie wearer; but for some reason have always wanted one of these.....

If you don’t mind a black beanie with an orange logo I’ve got boxes of em. Very warm and popular with the customers.
I’ll send you one.

My wife shat the bed when I spent $150 CAD on a Canada Goose down brand fur/down hat in about 2006.
I only needed it once, -20°C and about 7 knots of wind and was worth every cent…
Beanies are called Toques over there.
my wife would do more than shat the bed if I did that!!!!!!!!! I would quite possibly talk in high pitched tone and not need to shave ever again.
I run the norsewear grey wolley fleece liner jobby can be had for about $30 at most farming outfits never left me cold yet
Thanks so much for @Lauries Hut.
I have been well sorted. <3
I feel a photo is in order LOL....
