Yep....3 seperate stocks I have looked at had it to varieing degrees.
Its always been in the back of my mind I should fix it but shooting has taken the back seat of late.
Bit of interest again after the Toby shoot and went up the range to continue developing a load I started on ..... I dunno bloody ages ago and it shot like shit even with a known load.
Not the rifles fault but when I pulled the stock off the front screw was a full turn out from finger tight![]()
Iv found with 85s and 75s they can loosen after 10-20 rounds after refitting the stock no matter how pedantic you are with setting the action rearward while tightening but after the second tighten they are generally rock solid.
Mine has done a lot of bouncing around in a fish bin on the front of a quad,being carried/dropped/walking sticked and generally taken hunting but not to the range.
So while it shoots pretty good if the action screws are actually tightish its just something I should sort out I think so hopefully they stay tight.
