As above you need to remove material so you can bed the whole thing at once....you can't just lower one end or you will be twisting the stock and action when you tighten the screws.
The idea is to have the entire thing stress free and well supported by the bedding.
ok, it just appears that the front is ok height wise but the rear is too high as it has a Parker Hale trigger and not the standard M98 one.
