Not sure yet, at first he reckoned sub $100 but it turned into a bit more of a job than he anticipated so I will let you know when I get the final number.

Yeah mate, several times. Had loose screws, rings and bolts cause issues enough times that that is my first port of call. I even had a scope once that was moving inside the rear ring while the front ring moved on the rifle :s It's my tikka short-barreled 308 and changing to a DNZ Gamereaper fixed that issue.
