Make sure you use plenty of release agent on the screws and action area. If a screw is bound by bedding compound then hold a soldering bolt on the head until it is hot to touch and it should break free. This method will not damage the bedding.

@gundoc yeah that was one thing I got out of the research.
Release agent is you friend. Bigtime
I've read a couple of opinions where they do the rear and front separately as in not at the same time.
Not a fan.
The second one I have to redo would almost work like that as it tips down at the front even though its been bedded. The rear screw is bending the action back down. It wouldn't need much material removed at the rear as its already higher and I wouldn't have to dig out the front.
Still inclined to do it all at once though
