Thread: bedding P14

I have a couple of p14 projects that will need bedding done. In one case redone.
In my research there is a one website that recommends using plugs, straws and guide screws with no heads to align the stock as you lower it into the bedding. Not a silly idea.
That's good, but the p14s have an angled rear action screw so cant do that on the rear at least. Just have to be bloody careful doing it so I don't get any compound on the threads as that would be bad.
Any tricks and traps for this sort of thing?
Don't have any gear yet so just doing the homework for now. Found a supplier for west system in chch so will probably give that a shot.
