After spending lunch on the phone yesterday no one in NZ imports them. Serious shooters is looking into it but that's as close as I got.

That would make it too light imo. I've done the whole ultra light rifle gig, its not for me, I've got a target weight I'm working towards.

Cant shoot it accurately off a bipod, plus I got the rifle brand new for an absolute bargain, once I put this BnC stock on it will only have cost me what most sell for new.
Looks like I will be able to get a family member to order a stock from Canada and send to me. Will let you all know how I get on.

Boyds are heavy. I got a mate in US to buy a B&C for me from Red Hawks and then I picked it up from him when I went to US.

I got Ryan and I both a Wildcat Composite Model 7 stock from Canada. This are unfinshed stocks; require a recoil pad, bolt handle inletting, painting and possibly action bedding.

I've only just start to do something with might and is getting bedding this week.

These are cheap, about NZ$280, but as mentioned, do required a little work.

The wight is 17oz or 480gm.

Thanks for the options. The stock has been ordered and I'd about to be sent from my family in Canada to me here. Will see how it goes.

I am in Canada at the moment,
Prophet river firearms, (My fav firearm store) carries Bell in Carson $399 CAD plus 5% GST for a medalist,
Clay the owner will likely export them to NZ.
Wildcats (Canada stock maker) have gone up quite a bit, $375 for a blank, $435 CAD for sanded and filled, great stock.
As far as I can see no problems exporting from Canada, and several very good sources,
