    Bergara Ridgeback

Was handed one of these in 6.5Creedmore today for a looksee.
Weighed a ton as a bare rifle mostly due to the bull barrel I assume, I didn't get to pull it to bits to see if the stock was heavy.

Otherwise it seemed a solid bit of kit.
Trigger was one of the best I have felt on a factory rifle out of the box.

Anyone running one? I may be getting one soon to do some load development so hopefully I get a decent play with one.
Some American shooters I have spoken with rate them.
Not sure if I have this right but they are made in the US and in Spain?

I think they are just an HMR in a dumbed down stock. My HMR shot excellent.

Bergara is a Spanish made copy of the Remmy 700, but made better, much better

Kiwi Greg has done builds on them and may be able to comment.

General chat suggests they are significantly better quality than the Remingtons they copy.
