But is it a noticeable amount faster to operate than a Lee Enfield is??

(You generally don’t need fast for long range accurate shooting)

    I quite like it
It may just be the way I'm reading the webb but even though it seems unusual for Sako etc, Im reading the 30cal may be available in 1-10
    Probably got that wrong.

It does look interesting, very blaser like, 5 shot mag, L/R capable, rail so no expensive mounts needed, hopefully they will do a carbon stock one to lighten it up a bit.

The thing I like about my blaser is being able to carry it with one in the chamber & decocked, very handy when bush hunting or with a mate.
Shut up, get out & start pushing!

As best I can tell, after reading several reviews and watching many videos, including Berettas own vids showing some cut-away operations, this thing is hammer fired, not striker. So that safety knob is just a 3 position safety and not a Cocker/de-cocker. That means the hammer remains cocked in all positions of the safety and you have no half-bolt equivalent... 500 years of development crows the Betretta NZ web site. Well, should have waited another 500 methinks....
10MRT shooters do it 60 times, in two directions and at two speeds.

While it may not be fully decocked like the blaser I dont see that as a major disadvantage.
    Rule 3 and all.
Even if I had a blaser I wouldn't be loading the mag and chamber on getting out of the ute and putting in in the pack.

Wilsons has these advertised at $2800. Might have to check it out next time I'm there.

I like the look of them. Most of the features of a Blaser but at a fraction of the price, and build quality should be more than adequate

Wilsons are taking pre orders as there are none (bar a sample with police) in the country. We are hoping to launch March. Beretta received over 15,000 orders in one week for this rifle, and that doesn’t include the USA! So demand on a huge scale.
