Best AR platform .22 ????

I had a dedicated CMMG AR 22 I surrendered in 2019.
Who was to know I could have kept the bolt, barrel, handguard and mags to fit to a UTAS 556 and still have a functioning legal gun? :(

IMO

Pros for AR based 22 platform.
Adjustable stock allows smaller framed humans (ie kids) correct length of pull without taking a hacksaw to the stock.
Other ergonomics are well though out.
Big easy to handle, load and not lose magazines. Contrast that to fiddly sharped edged lips 10/22 mags.
Lots of aftermarket parts, mounts etc to fit.
Kids show an interest in shooting one cos of 'cool' factor.
Get the fudds stirred up.

Cons.
Heavy, with rear bias. So kids usually need to shoot off bipod/rest.
Alloy handguards suck in cold weather.
Get the fudds stirred up.

Conclusion. Get a Tippman. It legal to own one.

i kept my cmmg bolt and barrel, its the best thing ever in the ar15 platform, i can put it in the kriss upper, and can shoot a nordic upper .as well as the ruger barrel just buy a cheap one and chop it shorter but still legal though, the kriss dosent end there. yep the tippman is the best in terms of reliability out of others i had like the smiths, hk ect.

Only ask as they tend to be significantly cheaper than the tippmann.

Unfortunately you get the silent minority who "place" themselves in positions are more than willing to side line/exclude those who do not kowtow to them and their "my way is the right way" . And they hold sway by virtue that everyone else does not have the time to devote themselves to the task , so their pathetic backwards/arse covering attitude wins by default.
And they abhor any confrontation because they know they don't have the support except from those they have managed to subjugate or fool .
