Best binos for under 500 bucks 10x40

Bushnell Legend Ultra 10x42 for a kick off...
Looking for some local feedback from someone who has a pair.. low light performance..etc
Most reviews I've seen on the net are all good but haven't found a mention of low light...

    Cheers

Best price I've come up with is 303 US... inc ship..

Looked through the whole Zen Ray range last time I was in the states. Mucho quality for the price. Brought myself back the ED3's and they're top notch. I want to get one of their smaller models for the bush as well.

    Hey Grue.. and Smiddy
If you can find me a pair of ZEN ED3 10x43's for under 500nzd I'll look into them a bit closer.
Just had a quick look at some reviews and they do get good ones...
For now I'm sticking to a budget....

Hey CreepingDeath... I'd be keen to hear what the Bushnell's are like in low light... they can be got for a good price.

& veitnamcam... Yea... hunting mate has a pair.. he told me to get Leica's... I reckon its so he can use them
If I was going for Leupold I'd probably get BX3 Mojave's... except now that I've looked at what people say about Zen Ray's...

Don't have the dosh to throw at Leica's.. unless someone has some under a grand.. then I might

Ahh okie... I've been reading a bit on binos at the BirdForum... (sorry no hot chicks)
... they seem a bit crazy about the quality but thats what makes it good reading

Damn you lot for mentioning the Zen Ray's..... (good things being said)
A fair bit of searching and reading plenty of reviews...
Now it looks like my budget might double and the tax man might get some more funds.... Thanks !...
