I buy mine from Bob at Ikamatua garage before Reefton on the coast.

Most of the heli operators on the coast get a good deal.
Not sure if they still do the deals as I have a heap I haven't used so have not bought any for a year or 2.

What kinda deals are we talking? It's looking like anything under $1 a shot is a bargain. I see reloaders has Clever $225 for 250.

Mostly goats, the chopper boys target larger game with it as well.

It does interesting things to bunnys, but is hardly ideal for the job.

Goats and pigs in tight scrubby country and pine forest.

I always use the Winchester 00/SG 9-ball load in the red case. Tested it extensively in 2 Remington 28" interchoke barrels and found that MOD choke was best.
The pattern holds together until the 30-yard mark then goes to pieces no matter what choke/load combo I tried. Very effective inside 30 yards!

For short-barrel cylinder bore shotguns 25 yards is plenty far enough.

Sellior and Bellot. I had some 12 ball 12g from them and it comes in boxes of 25 instead of 10s....They did solid slugs for a similar price too. But it has been a while since I bought some.
