About LinkBacksSwarovskis are the ducks nuts. I have a zeiss as well, which is a good scope in its own right, but the swaro is brighter. The 3-18x44 is a fantastic option. I have the larger model on my 270 and wouldn't change it. You could also look at the Z3 4-12x50 or the 3-10x42. The z3s are brighter and lighter than a vx6.
