Thread: Best Overbarrel. 22 suppressor - anyone used a centrefire suppressor on a rimfire?

    Don't know about the opening poster, but I wanted my .22LR to be as short as possible, so went for an over-barrel suppressor. I had a Hushpower prior to the Hardy and it did the job just fine.

    @MB have ordered a Hardy same as yours. Just the weight and length in the end and the fact this is going on a dedicated subsonic short barrel .22

    Having thought about it I'm not really going to be running supers so should be all good with the rimfire can.

    Don't forget to let Hardy know the external barrel diameter where the bush will sit and they will bore the bush out to the correct size. Despite their reputation, I found them pretty good to deal with.
