Thread: Best place to sell a rifle?

Just wondering where the best places to sell a rifle is now days? trademe's fees put me off listing anything too expensive on there so wondering if there's any other websites in NZ that are good to use?

Contribute a few posts on here and eventually an admin will make the buy/sell available to you. its the cheapest way
Other than that pretty much the yellow site or take it to a gunshop for a terrible price

Trademe will often have few free promos look out for one of them also 50% off fees etc and the fees a capped

This one if you have a bit of input first, Trade Me fees aren't bad if you compare it to the % a dealer will require to sell on behalf. Go introduce yourself is the start here.

Here would be my first choice if I wanted to sell a firearm. Failing that, I would try TradeMe but only if really desperate to sell.

Thanks for the replies team, I didn't realise there was a buy sell section on here good to know will try to be a bit more active. Also didn't think about the trademe fee free promos so might hold off for that as well. Legends.

-Price (compulsory) a value for swaps is also compulsory.

-All specific and relevant details - for example, for a rifle - calibre, make, model, condition, features.

-Decent photographs.

-This is not a place to link to your Trademe add.

-If you think an item is overpriced don’t buy it, there is no reason to derail someone else’s for sale thread with your opinion on it’s value, likewise if you aren’t interested in buying it then your comments aren’t needed.

-Anyone can list items, if you are a member (new, old or otherwise) then you can list your wares. whilst it is nice for new members to complete an intro thread it is in no way a requirement.

- please be considerate and limit bumping your post to twice a day, the buy sell section is for all of us so let everyone have a fair crack.
