    Best Plastic AR mags

    What is the guts on the best P Mag for AR platform.

    I have only ever used metal mags as i diidnt hsve to buy themNow I am considering getting some plastic ones.

    Sound advice will be appreciated.

    My P mags I got from Spearmags have not given me any issues ever Spear Mags Ltd - Quality Firearms and Accessories
    got mates who swear by their magpul ones

    I already looked there but they had no 30 rnd mags listed. The 20 rnd 3 pack for $150 looked good tho. But I need to buy 30s for now, for multi/3gun.

    Pretty sure 60s are not allowed in the division I shoot.

    Have been searching and the only place that has 30s that I can find is gunshitty.

    gun supplies have p mags $109 gunstuff has 40 round p mags $110 and 30 round mags steel and plastic

    Brownells. Magpul or Lancer. I got an MSSA parts permit in 10 days the other day, so it might be worth a go.

    As said above, Pmags or Lancer's never missed a beat.
    My last import permit for them took ~3 weeks, and that was last month.

    Yup magpul I've never had an issue with, the few spear mags I've tried were quite tight in the mag well and wouldn't fall away on their own, A couple even when loaded. Pretty sure they were first gen though. Could have just been my rifle though.

    no issues with spear. none have them have dropped out/mis-loaded etc

    Have you looked to see if Tasman research has anything avail ? they do the Tacload 30 round mags

    GunsNZ have the Troy Battle mags, I haven't used mine a lot but they run well. If I recall right they were only about $60ish.
