    Best quick release torch mount

Looking for a quick release torch mount. What can you recommend or they all pretty much the same.

    Maxtoch one looks ok?

There's a lot to be said for mounting a torch under the forend. If you want the torch mounted on the scope, I find a simple figure of eight mount works well. Cheap and quickish release, although not as fast as a proper quick release.

basically the same set-up I have except I just used a scope ring with hand twist knob on the screw to tighten to rail rather than a 'proper' quick release .
    works mint

Yer that's what I was using but having the ring on the scope i keep loosing the nut and screw. Would prefer the rail on the scope I think.

yeah sorry mate didn't explain very well, I meant I have that rail set up mounted on the scope but the torch is mounted in a scope ring that I hand tighten to the rail , rather than the 'proper' quick release ring as in the setup you are looking at .
I like the rail set-up on scope myself . I would prefer to have the torch mounted below the barrel to stop the glare/reflection that can sometimes happen through the scope from the stainless barrel if the torch is on wide focus rather than tight beam but didn't want to mount a rail under the stock and ruin it , so just a strip of insulation tape on the top of the barrel seemed to mostly solve the reflection issue .
I did find though an overly heavy torch or torch mounted to high above the scope can screw up the balance of the rifle and it can want to tip sideways . So light and low torch is your best bet if mounting like this in my opinion .

The Olight magnetic mount sold by Sarvo - GRhunts is way way better than those upside down scope mount things. Super strong magnet that is rubberised so no marks or scratches. Mount is adjustable for zero, so the torch can be taken on and off at will and it stays zeroed

They look bloody good and would solve the issue of needing multiple mounts for different rifles but.............

My torch is 30mm and they only fit up 26mm, now I have to buy a new torch.

That's what I run on my Bush Pig with an M24 Maxtoch. Very quick to fix or remove, quite stable.

I have a quick release, Threw a bit of sleeping mat under it. Stopped the screw coming loose when hand held. Clips tight every time.
