yeah sorry mate didn't explain very well, I meant I have that rail set up mounted on the scope but the torch is mounted in a scope ring that I hand tighten to the rail , rather than the 'proper' quick release ring as in the setup you are looking at .
I like the rail set-up on scope myself . I would prefer to have the torch mounted below the barrel to stop the glare/reflection that can sometimes happen through the scope from the stainless barrel if the torch is on wide focus rather than tight beam but didn't want to mount a rail under the stock and ruin it , so just a strip of insulation tape on the top of the barrel seemed to mostly solve the reflection issue .
I did find though an overly heavy torch or torch mounted to high above the scope can screw up the balance of the rifle and it can want to tip sideways . So light and low torch is your best bet if mounting like this in my opinion .
