Thread: Best Semi -auto 22

The thing about the 10-22 is that there are a shizzit load of after market parts and this means there is virtually no limit to how far you can go with improving them. Mine will shoot 1/2 MOA off bags with Eley Tenex etc but the only original parts remaining are the receiver and the bolt (which has been squared to the barrel). MacMillan STC stock, Volquartzen THM Tension barrel and cantilever mount, Jewell trigger.

If I had to do it again, I would probably just buy a complete Volquartzen or similar unit as I think these other manufacturers have taken the 10-22 concept much further now, and offer better receivers and barrel fit.
