Best value no frills 3-9 hunting scope

Been donks since ive brought a “simple” scope
Only thing im after is good glass and rugged reliability for hunting
Don’t need any flash shit like adjustable parallax or dials
Will Literally be zeroed at 100 and used for hunting out to 300

What’s the best value for money in something like that these days

I reckon the Leupold mark3 HD 2.5-8x36 would be the ticket. I managed to find an older Zeiss Diavara when looking for the same thing.

I have a near mint Nikon for sale. They are good reliable scopes for the dollar. This one is a 3-9x40 with BDC reticle, retractable turrets etc. Clean straight unit for either centrefire or rimfire. PM if interested..

I agree on the FF IV. Have a 2.5x10 e3 on my .375, great glass, great reticle, holds zero great with heavy recoil.

I give it my official stamp of approval!

Nikko Stirling scopes from 55Six are excellent. Run 5 different versions and have owned plenty of others over the years, never once let me down.

IMO they have better glass than a $800 scope from a more "expensive/elite" brand that i have. Only thing i could knock them for is it'd be nice if the reticle was slightly thicker and the whole thing was illuminated rather than just the top.
