i had an alloy soldered base on a standard receiver, the barrel was ex factory but seriously mounted on. the damn thing was a tack driver but a little heavy to carry hours on end for small game. currently i run a 10/22 with a choate drag stock and a 3-12 scope i can still nail bunnies at 100m but its mainly because of barrel to action fitting
