Eight or so days ago I asked the question about removing the pressure blocks on my Remington 7mm Mag to see if I could improve accuracy. The answers suggested to leave it as it was so that's what I did,
Today was a good day weather wise so I took the long rangers out for a blast. Set up targets at 550 yards and fired 3 shots at each, one target with the 300 Rum the other the 7mm Mag.
One shot with the 300 spoiled the group as I new I had moved slightly when she went off (to the left) other two are 4 and 3 inches from my aim point.. The 7mm Mag grouped it's three shot slightly right which would account for the wind (didn't dial for it) but the group was just over three inches. This was better than expected and I am glad I listened to the forum and left the old girl alone.
