    Binocular Repairs

My near new pair of Bushnell Ultra HD binos decided they would only adjust in one eye, 6hours walk from civilisation on a 3 day hunt.
I decided fuck it and proceded to remove the adjuster assembly and have a wee play with the two brass rods in there to get it evened up.
Probably a dumb move as im sure ive probably voided the warranty and i brought them from the states anyway.
I have all the peices here, nothing is broken and the glass is still excellent, does anyone know anyone who specialises in bino repairs?
The local camera guy said he didnt have the correct equipment to do it properly.

There are only three types of people in this world. Those that can count, and those that can't!

Haha I laughed at that. I can picture him now given a sermon about binocular does and donots( but he's usually right)

He's helpful if you are polite, and a right prick when he feels like taking offence to an opinion that differs from his own

I have a feeling he will say something along the lines of why the heck did you take it apart in the first place?

He has defogged my binos twice now

Well to Bushnells credit, after finally getting past the customer service robots to the international department on the phone and explaining things, they are sending me a new pair, no questions asked just needed to provide receipt. Cant get a better warrany than that!

I would have suggested Willhelm as well. Does anyone know if Peter Vasey Optics still exists in Auckland ??
