Thread: Binocular Weight - How important is it?

Hi,

I am looking at getting my first set of binos. I am wanting to get a decent pair from the get-go.
After a bit of research, I am mainly looking at two - Vanguard 10.5x45 Endeavour or the Bushnell 10x42 Legend

My question is that the weight of them is significantly different - 760gm vs 640gm.
How important is the weight when looking at the binocular?
Am I looking at two poor options as far as binoculars are concerned?
