    Binoculars Advice

Looking into upgrading binoculars from my Bushnell trophy 10x42s have a budget of around the thousand dollar mark am I going to see real gains in binoculars of this price range I have had my eyes on some minox HD 10x44s that seem to get good reviews in this price range or am I better to save more for a much better brand.

    Cheers

Right up to dark literally, and watching a red spiker long after we could no longer see him with the naked eye.

Correct both 10x42, pretty sure the deer was around 300 yards away from memory, the other bonus is the Nikons are a lot lighter.
Often pick up reds at 1-2km away wouldn't have belived it possible with my old binos

Make sure they actually have them though - I tried to buy some bino’s from this outfit, and although advertised on their website they weren’t actually available yet in NZ. Bought them from Sarvo instead, and a lot cheaper.

Are you considering 2nd hand as well as new? You can pick up some good quality optics 2nd hand if you are patient. For $1000 one you might want to consider is the Bushnell Fusion 1mile ARC RF binos
