pretty common if you can't get the bipod tall enough, for the butstock to sit far to low on the shoulder. will cause a mis high on target.

I'll go along with the cock up theory. Years ago in the land of usenet newreaders a post was made about charts. The replies started off serious but then improved to something about four elephants holding up the world. I miss newsgroups. A few of these replies take me back.
