Thread: Blaser K95?

I had a special set of dry bays made by "Twin needle" to slip the parts in to when taken apart and the scope is off.
They slot nicely into the side straps on my pack and the scope is tucked inside in its neoprene cover.

Niggeloh does a very nice sling that has two cartridge holder loops built into the bottom end of the foam strap part. Very nice product and there are always a couple of cartridges handy.

Once you get a load sorted its just go hunting. No bedding, no tinkering just go hunting.
When I hunt alone there is always one in the chamber and its very fast to cock and shoulder in one motion. @stug I hope you like it when it arrives.
But Im not sure about the one rifle idea, personally.
I use a couple of R93s for the basic handy meat hunting and have the luxury of being fussy about what I shoot when Im away in the alps and trophy hunting and thats when the K95 gets used. Its covered a lot of country with me and doesn't often get fired.
I guide ( for koha ) a few overseas visitors each year and don't really need to carry a rifle ( they always have my R93s ) but just can't bring myself to not have the K95 on my shoulder even if Im unlikely to use it.
