    My K95 is a 6.5x65R

    I always fancied a short K95 barrel in 8x57R
But a 308 would be much more sensible

Then I'm not known for doing sensible

Yeah I'm guessing most guys K95 is in a primary big game caliber
But that they would like a smaller caliber as well
Or a short barreled thumper for in the bush and with a smaller lower powered scope

    I suppose I can dream, 9.3x62 and 7x65r.
Maybe something small and fast too, like my 5.6

Mines 6.5x55 mauser and yeah I’d like smaller .222 or more likely .243 as I’m a big 6mm fan.

Well it should really be a 9.3x74R in a single shot
But I don't think you would like the recoil in such a light rifle

Well I've just sorted out my dream vintage single shot 7x57R and it's everything and more than I could hope for

So 7x57R is a very good choice in a K95
