I'll have mine done when it arrives as this belongs to @shift14. Not a production line or anything, just had them machined when we were looking at ways of mounting our PM2's as low as possible and loose weight at the same time. haven't achieved in dropping mounting height just yet, will wait and see if Stager has any spacers around 1-2mm thick otherwise these will be machined down.

@veitnamcam I'm assuming they have milled down the standard blaser mount so it is lighter than the ones on ebay by 3grams.
Of course @Nibblet was told to buy the ebay one because it is cheaper and lighter than buying the factory blaser mount . . .

If I was serious about weight loss I would put down the fork

Like anything else it was done because we can.
@Barefoot I actually scored the Blaser one for about the same price as the eBay one....

2 more reasons to consider a Blaser R8... 6.5x47L and 6.5x284 barrels are now going to be available in std, semi weight and match contours. Mmmmmm
If it's not a first round hit you need to practice more

Order now if you want it sometime in 2016... Blaser factory lead times are a fucking joke.

I would have changed my mind 6 times by the time it turns up! On the other hand it gives me plenty of time to save for the saddle and scope...

    Twist rate on the x47L?

Also, the 6.5x284 has been available for years. I think it was one of, if not the first, barrel I got with my R8.

Also also, you at Fieldays dude?

Don't know what the twist rate is, just recently sold my x47 dies and a heap of new brass so I'm not (currently) thinking of buying 1.... Ask me tomorrow though, my mind will have changed...

Haven't been able to get the 284 barrel here for a few years, I see Euro optic has them listed though, old stock maybe?

Na, no field days for me this year. Had a week away tahr hunting last week so thought I should be at work this week again...
