Lots of Fcuking around... I tried it by swapping a Z5 between my 6.5x55 barrel and my 7mmRM barrel. Significant enough difference in E and W POI's (for me ) to dismiss the idea.
As Kiwijames has said, no worries to take the scope off and put it in your carry on luggage, when travelling, and then chuck it back on the same barrel.

BRADs is an R8.......there's been two R93's on TM in the last fortnight, I think, both with saddle mounts.
I don't think either have sold.
Ones a .223 with HRE can, the others a 6.5......fill your boots.
I have the phone # of the .223 seller.
I think L.R. Is buying a uber nice Black Edition Attaché R8.
I couldn't be happier with mine.
A GRS Blaser stock from Norway would be good on the gongs.
Christensen Europes website seems to have dissapeared from the inter web, so a Carbon stock might be a ways off

I don't really think it any one business but.....
I've changed to R93 to loose some weight...and it feels better......the R8 is buy far the best platform I've ever owned in every single way, and I've had nearly every thing.
But yes as gimp says I'm just a junky, but who the fuck cares you guys get good shit for cheap.
I'll always sing its praises.
The one thing I don't get is people hating on shit they've never had or played with?
I abuse @Gibo and his tikkas as I've had a few.......

They come up reasonably often outdoorlad, 1500-1800 for a plain old 75 1800-2200 seams to be about the goin rate for a finlight unless it has been dicked around with then like anything else the owner will want new price for all the "upgrades"

It was given to me to use for a season on meat and I had one ordered within a week.
I will never look back. I have shot countless animals that I would have missed out on with a turnbolt.
Speed of the action and SAFELY hunting with a chambered round were a plus.

I had the opportunity to spend a day hunting with a mates R8. By the end of the day I was ready to throw it down a bank! Cool engineering but way too heavy. I now own an R93 with Christensen Carbon stock, fluted attache barrel, Delta suppressor topped with March 2.5-25x42 scope. Neat light weight rig... just waiting on one of those Neopod bipods to complete the light weight blaser package. Might invest in a carbon wrapped barrel in the future.

Mine as I hunt with it. Depending on country I have a bipod and Swaro 3-18 in my backpack. Swaro is not much heavier than the Loopy.
Carbon fibre stock to come.

My R93 loaded, slung, bipod, suppressor feels like it weighs the same as his R8 without all that shit on!
