I would say 6lb 1.5oz
Sounds doggy :wtfsmilie:
glad i wasnt the only one thinking that
Optimum length for a 308 would be around 40 inches.
Bwah ha ha!!!
Bwah ha ha !!!
Now that rubbish is out of the way a helpful knowledgeable answer may appear as I d seriously like to send two barrels one suppressor away to get modded
Conventional thought would call optimum length whatever length yielded the highest velocity.
What is your personal description of optimum length ?
have we measured the barrels to see how different the dia's are???
Long enough to retain good accuracy related to the caliber but as short as possible as well to make it nice to carry with the suppressor fitted.
Why does this weird idea persist that barrel length has something to do with accuracy?
The way I see it you have a few choices....
factory length
shortened so factory length with can on.
as short as possible without interfering with stock.
As short as you can legally run and bugger the stock if it is in the way.
VC your a fucken genius! It won't make any difference to Happys shooting! Gotta say I could become gay and own a BLASER after playing with Happys:O_O:
My 7-08 is cut to 18.5" (or was it 19?). Standard profile barrels in M cal are same/same IIRC, just different hole through the guts. Still accurate as hell, lost about 150fps from factory. Way better shorter.
I am no use to you Happy as I do not own a factory barrel anymore.
Good to see your obliging as far as Maca is concerned.😆
If you have to be gay to own a blaser, I wanna be the daddy😆
Reminds me of a joke
New guy on jail sharing a cell with a big bald scared scary looking weapon pf a man. He says " your gonna be hete somr time do you want to br the mommy or the daddy? "
Thinking quickly he says " daddy"
"Righto" says his cell mate . "Get over here and suck mommas cock "
Now I am conflicted😊
Doesn't a blaser barrel cost like $1500? Why not just buy a $15 bush for the suppressor and have them at whatever length you want . Seems pointless to cut two perfectly good barrels down just so you can save the 10 seconds it takes to change the rear bush??? I would cut the 308 as short as possible and leave a bit of length in the 6.5.
But on saying that if it was me I wouldn't have those two calibres.
My ideal blaser set up would be a r93 with carbon stock.
7mm rem mag
Cut down 308 with a dpt modular
Full length 223 with dot modular.
I think I just talked myself into a lot of money....
Or 300 blaser mag
