Mine seems to be missing the front tip mount sling stud, and I’m wondering if all the fill in the forend was added by a previous owner (and has plugged up the front hole where the sling stud would normally be mounted). I have a sling stud mounted underneath, but not in the tip of the forend.

Looking to put one of the spartan gunsmith adaptors in, but that fill in the forend is making me nervous as it appears to have a metal strip running up the centreline.

Stick with your current stock, it’s likely been improved on the original, the Professional is a good bit of kit, and has the Blaser excellent fit and tolerances. A few ounces not significant. I have Offroad and Professional, happy with them both. Always a better mousetrap…
