I'd go for a pull through with a fluffy dry patch in this situation. I don't like to layer oil on top of water. Something dry and non oily to sponge off the top round in the mag/chamber is good too - like tissues from my pocket. It will stay damp unless the sun comes out. This wetness is why I don't put a fouler shot down my barrel. I like to start the day with a barrel that's been oiled then swabbed out as dry as I can get it so a film of oil staves off rust and water can be mostly got rid of with a dry patch or two down the bore.
Also, don't load your rounds up crazy hot !
