    Ive got several DPT's. My .223's fire thousands of rounds. Never maintained them and am thoroughly happy with them.
    The bit that blew off my magnum one was ordinary wear and tear from hundreds of full house magnum rounds coupled with my own lazy approach to its maintenance (none). They all have an end life.

    Arising from this thread I will now at least squirt some wd40 into them from time to time.

    DPT are a great product.
    Out beyond ideas of wrongdoing, and right-doing, there is a field. I will meet you there.
