blr browning or mlr miroku lever action barrel removal

has anyone removed the barrel from a mlr or blr i see they now make a take down version, so im wondering if a non take down version is as easy as removing a screw or something or is it more tech than that eg head space problems ect, basicly im looking for a small packable rifle probably in 243 and these seem to fit the discription but i dont really want to shell out the extra for for a take down model, are there any other brands models i should look at

Theres a lot of reasons why you wouldn't want to take one apart. Simplest answer to your question though is ... no

i know the action itsself is ment to be complex but all im refering to is simply removing the barrel for example a ruger 10/22 has a permanent barrel but its easy to remove if you chose to.

Mine was removed to thread for a suppressor. It's a steel action don't think the alloy actions are removable.
It unscrews the same as a bolt action no easy way.
