Gday. Some blued things are sort of rust-resistant but some aren't. My old Browning A5 shotty was a PITA for rust on the blueing. It had to have the jebus oiled out of it to stop it.
Others are way more resistant. My "New in 90" winchester lightweight 243 was way less rust attracting than the A5.
Only ever had the one staino rifle-a 10/22 when they first came out in the early 90s and that has been pretty good but from on here I have certainly seen some comments that just like blueing, some staino rifles go rusty if you turn around in the rain whilst others are brilliant.
Ultimately don't be put off by blued barrels. If it's a good deal, grab it.
If its a well used but good nick rifle it may fall into the more rust resistant type. but ultimately it doesn't hurt to have an oily rag handy when you put it away just to make sure.
Proper gun care is the main thing.
