I have a Diana Model 45 .177 air rifle that I grew up and learnt to shoot with. Problem is that it's quite rusty. Was wondering if it is possible to get it re blued or maybe even mill spec type coating and how much it would cost. I know, it's just an air rifle but it has a lot of sentimental value to me.
It would be nice to have it reblued. Strip it and polish the metal yourself and you'll save heaps. The better, more mirror finished the metal, the deeper the final result. I had my last rebluing done at Dill Collins, but that was ages ago, it would pay to shop around.
I need some bluing done at some stage, so let us know who you used.
