Sounds like a sharp edge to me, and less bearing surface grinding paste will probably just make it fit sloppy.
Removing more material should be done very carefully from this point on

I’ll just use it and abuse it as I usually do. I dnt think it’s a problem at all. I just notice small things as I’m an anal cnt.

    Looks cool. End of story.
I suppose unless you are lightening everything - Carbon stock 130 - 200+ grams lighter depending on model, barrel fluting is 150 - 200grams lighter and then you flute the bolt at 80 - 90 grams you're potentially almost at a half kilogram lighter. I am considering fluting the bolt and barrel on a bush rifle I am doing with a carbon stock.

What's that old saying, ounces become pounds?

Shot about 40 rounds through it now. Not too much difference. I could understand when spiral fluting gets in and out of the action it would try to grab onto anything that isn't a straight smooth surface. But it’s not enough to upset me. I love the looks of it. And want to shoot it more. It’s like when you get a pretty girl friend that has hairy arms. You’d get over it for her other qualities.
