Bolt fluting is only worthwhile as part of the whole package. I have a Model 7 that I have done everything to lighten. From memory bare rifle weight was 7lb something. After bolt fluting, lightweight firing pin, carbon fibre stock, fluting barrel the bare rifle is 5lb 4 oz.
I've got all the individual weight savings on the computer at home, bit from memory a lightweight firing pin saved more weight than bolt fluting, by quite a way.
