I think technically you do as it is "part" of the action. That being said, customs let through a M700 firing pin assembly however my AO said I would need an import permit because it was part of the action. No problem getting a permit anyway to be on the safe side.
Can anyone advise what the story is now in 2016 if you want to import a bolt from PTG? Is a permit required? What is involved in getting such a permit? Cheers in advance
Decent rigmarole.... You have to fill out a form with PTG for all the goods you require for the next 2 years... And then you need to check what else....
No, NZ permit needed. It is the receiver itself only, the bit with the serial number on it that needs one. I have brought in 2 BCGs and 2 no4 enfield bolts no issues.
