    Box trigger for 10/22.?

Anyone tried one of these, thinking of getting one but can’t try one out first as they need to be pre ordered apparently, how much better are they than standard?for $200 they seem a good buy compared to Kidd or Volquartson,I only hunt not target shoot. Thanks

I have not tried a Kidd but definitely dig deep and buy a volquartson. It is light years ahead of the BX trigger - the BX I had although not bad was barely better than a stoned and tidied up factory trigger - and still had some creep and was overall a bit ‘doughy’.

I’ve got both Volquartson and two stage Kidd triggers . Both superb triggers in my opinion.

You get what you pay for. I’m happy with BX at the price. Easy to overcapitalise, depends what level you’re aiming at and what your budget is. If you’re up in Auckland check mine out I’ve got them in both my 10/22s.

The trigger in it now has been worked on by previous owner, pretty light but a lot of creep before take up,kind of like a 2 stage set up.

My mate loved is until he tried my kidd then he didn’t

Kidd is leaps and bounds above the rest
They are expensive but worth every dollar

If you don’t want to drop cash on a complete trigger
Get a trigger kit and upgrade your factory trigger there’s a few options

All of them will be a massive improvement on the factory ruger trigger
Plenty good enough for a bunny gun

If you’re going to buy a complete aftermarket unit
For 250-300 you May aswell spend 400 and get a kidd single stage
