I guess it is some what redeeming for Bushmaster, except for the loose barrel nuts...
Interesting. Cheers Beavis.
10,000 rounds without a malfunction is impressive no matter what you're shooting.
"The steel cases themselves don’t have any effect on the condition of the bore". I wasn't aware of that. I hear often people saying the steel cases can damage the receiver and barrel. These guys say it doesn't. It's just a little rougher on the extractors.
I love statistics
After thousands of rounds without cleaning, the internal components were… unclean.
10,000 rounds of Federal 55gr, 10,000 of Wolf, 10,000 of Tula, 10,000 of Brown Bear = a shite load of fun.
10,000 rounds even at 60c a pop is still 6k
youd get alot of whiskey and hookers for 6k
Sooo whos going to shoot bimetal projectiles throught their guns from now on?
Would have been good to throw in some steel cased copper jacked lead projectile stuff like the Hornady Training ammo for a fairer steel/brass case comparison.
There are only three types of people in this world. Those that can count, and those that can't!
Mmmm, was looking at that cheap Tula ammo at GC.....will still try some but not bulk buy....
great article Beavis, always read your AR 15 threads....
cheers mate
