    From memory there is no box to specify sporting goods?
    There's a section to tick for prohibited or restricted goods including weapons.

    What did they have to say about the scope? Anything?
    I assume they asked you the value, so had to pay GST?

    @Beetroot

    There was very little said about the scopes or the sword.

    The customs guy in Auckland had a quick look at the sword asked what else I had and said your all good to go use the green line over there.
