Thread: Brno 601 rings?? And possibly wtb

Not really a wtb add more a question but if anyone has a set let me know I could be interested
Anyway I grabbed a brno 601 in 243 off the s/h rack at the local
It came with a shit scope and rings that wouldn’t hold anything lol more rimfire ones
I was under the impression that the dovetails were 16mm same as the older brno rimfire rifles
And tikka/sako
And i had a set of tikka rings left over from my brno 22
But the tikka rings are too small dovetails on the rifle more like 18mm
What size do I need

Rifle was made in 89 if that helps

19mm rings are what you want, ideally Brno/CZ ones that have the little leg. I have a set of 30mm Warnes that I'd part with . . . .

Get the rings for the CZ550, will fit.

I have some Warned spare and CZ ones I’ll have a fossick.

@HandH - if you want to trade a set I'm after a 25mm ones too, can swap the 30mm Warnes . . . .

Got some excellent condition Parker hale rings that fit it. 100 dollars includes post.

That's unfortunate timing Foster, I have a new unused Warne 25mm here I could have posted with your projectiles yesterday!

I’ve got 30mm Warne QDs so not looking unfortunately. Also prefer 1” scopes on rifles like my ZG47. But I could spare 1” medium Warnes and CZ factory 1” lowish rings.

Hey thanks for the thoughts guys, my Brno is a Model 21 with a fancy German octagonal barrel and I was hoping to get it to a more "fancy pants" set of rings like Buehler, Alaskan Arms or Talley . . .

My Talleys are on the ZG47, not going anywhere

I have a set of warne rings That i will pick up at some stage very soon
Unfortunately though I have noticed a big crack in the stock between the trigger hole and rear tang
Which will need repair
Before i to to much shooting although it seems solid enough

Yup consider myself told off. Got a few for the blued walnut thread. BUT first got to get a handle on uploading photos....read and reread the instructions but despite multiple postgraduate qualifications I haven’t got my head around it...
