    I'd say they are considered a collectors item in NZ. They are an iconic rifle, and they are beautiful, well balanced and generally just a bloody good gun. Don't worry about whether you need it, just buy it.

    Went and checked out the rifle today. Nice clean bolt face, timbers in pretty good nick considering. Certainly hasn't been miss treated. Only thing is the scope on it is mounted really high, would like to be able to mount nice and low for a good cheek weld.


    So tempting!!

    They have a very high bolt lift.new scopes have large eyepiece.
    Real guns start with the number 3 or bigger and make two holes, one in and one out
