    Brno ZKK 600 trigger recommendations

    Hi all
I have a Brno 600 that was rechambered from 7x57 to 284 Win and it has the set trigger that won't set. I have tried to adjust but still no engagement, so I am now looking for a replacement trigger. These rifles came out with two triggers supplied in a cloth bag, the set one and a single stage trigger, and I have tried to find one of the single stage triggers but they have all disappeared it seems? I was looking at a Timney but have recently read that they can sometimes not have enough travel and don't always hit the primer reliably? I am keen to hear your experiences and any recommendations for other brands of triggers or fixes. The rifle and calibre are great to use and load for and a decent adjustable trigger would be an improvement. I look forward to your advice and many thanks for reading.

    Regards
    Ruger7mm

I didn't realize the trigger stays with the bottom metal rather than the action
pushes forward to click into that bar in front, then depress the trigger inside the trigger for release

How exactly have you been adjusting the set trigger?

Yes, very important this, if the set trigger is not located properly the set function won’t work, possibly the cause of the malfunction?

The manual says screwing the adjustment screw too tight can stop the trigger catching the notch of it's cam surface, so that could be your problem with it not "setting".
Another potential fishhook is that the trigger must be "set" before adjusting it.

    Hi Muzza
Thanks for the offer, I have a spare set trigger so might take you up on the offer. I am up in Taranaki about every two weeks or so for work so could drop off. Maybe PM your contact details and we can arrange something.
    Thanks again
    R7mm
